Make them last
Bouquet care guide
- 1
Trim the stems
Cut 2–3 cm off each stem at a 45° angle with sharp scissors as soon as they arrive.
- 2
Fresh, clean water
Fill a clean vase two-thirds with room-temperature water and add the flower food sachet.
- 3
Change water every 2 days
Rinse the vase, refresh the water and re-trim the stems.
- 4
Keep it cool
Away from direct sun, aircon vents, and ripening fruit.
- 5
Remove wilted blooms
Pull out fading stems so they don't affect the rest.
- 6
Wrapped bouquets
Keep the water pouch filled, or unwrap and transfer to a vase within a day.
Flower-specific tips
- Roses
- Remove leaves below the waterline. If a head droops, re-cut the stem under water.
- Tulips
- They keep growing and bend toward light — rotate the vase daily. Use cold water.
- Sunflowers
- Thirsty! Top up water daily and use a heavy vase.
- Lilies
- Remove the orange pollen as they open to avoid stains.
- Preserved flowers
- No water. Keep away from humidity and direct sunlight; dust gently with a soft brush.
